Henriette Niwemugisha, Children’s Center Librarian - Masaka Hospital, Rwanda

“Hello! My name is Niwemugisha Henriette, I enjoy being surrounded by the world of books and the joy of learning. I was born and raised in Kigali, specifically in the Gasabo district, which has instilled in me a deep appreciation for education and community. One of my greatest passions is working with children. I find immense joy in spending time with them, as they have a unique perspective on life and bring so much energy and creativity to every interaction. Their curiosity inspires me, and I enjoy nurturing their imaginations and helping them learn. My dreams revolve around making a positive impact, perhaps by creating experiences that bring people together and celebrate the beauty of our diverse cultures. Overall, I cherish the connections I make with others. My favorite color is white because it symbolizes purity and simplicity—qualities I strive to embody in my life. I believe that each moment spent with children or in a learning environment is an opportunity for growth and joy.” We appreciate Henriette’s intelligent perspectives and feel fortunate to have her manage the Masaka hospital children center. Thank you Henriette for all you do!
